Marella Cruises has marked its 30th birthday with a week of celebrations held across its five ships.
Tui UK’s ocean cruise line welcomed a star-studded line-up on board its different ships in Ajaccio, Palma, Dubrovnik and at sea, with birthday gala events, Party Like It’s 1996 themed nights and 90s trivia quizzes.
Marella Discovery 2 hosted Fleur East and Olympian Eddie ’The Eagle’ Edwards, while Marella Explorer saw BoyzLife stars Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden performing Boyzone and Westlife favourites.
Marella Voyager’s sailing featured a performance from Strictly Come Dancing and Drag Race favourite La Voix and a live Q&A with TV presenter Michaela Strachan.
While at sea, Marella Discovery Aston Merrygold from JLS performed, followed by a live Q&A with Anthea Turner.
Chief executive Chris Hackney said: “Celebrating 30 years of Marella Cruises in the UK has been a truly defining milestone for us, especially as it follows our most successful year to date.
