Flexi Reps to visit agents on behalf of National Holidays

Domestic specialist National Holidays, part of the JG Travel Group, has partnered with Flexi Reps to increase the operator’s trade engagement.

From May 4, two reps from the temporary field sales specialist will be on the road visiting travel agencies in the operator’s key sales areas to ensure agents have the tools needed to sell National Holidays’ products, as demand for UK holidays continues to increase.

Matthew Herbert, sales and yield director at The JG Travel Group comments: “The National Holidays brand joined our portfolio in 2020 and we’ve worked hard to build its profile with agents since then.

“However, moving forward we want to do more and ensure those in the main departure regions know more about who we are and how best to promote and sell our products.

“This year the opportunity for domestic holidays is arguably greater than ever. Having two additional reps out on the road making store visits will help us share our plans face-to-face with agents, now their doors have opened again.

“We have a wealth of product on sale to suit a wide range of customers, and we want to make sure agents have the right knowledge and tools at their fingertips to capitalise on every opportunity.”

The two Flexi Reps will report to Claire Dutton, the group’s trade sales manager.

Agents in the northeast and northwest will be targeted in line with the operator’s main pick-up points.

Craig Davidson, managing director at Flexi Reps, added: “As we emerge from the pandemic and life is breathed back into the high street, it’s great to see businesses like National Holidays jump into action quickly to get out and share their plans with travel agents.”
