Holiday Extras has expanded its travel insurance offer to allow customers to increase their cancellation cover.
A new partnership with provider PJ Hayman & Company will enable customers to buy cancellation cover top up in addition to their policy.
This increases cancellation cover with either an additional £15,000 or £20,000 depending on their age.
Holiday Extras insurance director Howard Dove said: “We are now able to cover our customers for up to £35,000 cancellation cover compared to the previous limit of £15,000.
“Being able to offer good, comprehensive travel insurance to all of our customers is a key part of our long-term strategic plan and core to our industry’s much-needed recovery.”
The top up mirrors the existing Holiday Extras’ travel insurance policy, which includes Covid-19 cover.
It means that holidaymakers will be able to secure insurance for high-value holidays that require more comprehensive cover in one place, according to the company.
The no excess policy will be available without the need to declare any medical conditions on the additional cover policy.
P J Hayman & Company director Peter Hayman said: “We are delighted to be working with Holiday Extras and provide them with our to top-up cancellation scheme which follows the terms and conditions of their underlying travel insurance policy without the need for any additional underwriting. It will enable customers to travel with confidence on that trip of a life-time.”
