Guests on the Rhine Cruise to Switzerland itinerary will take guided tours of Strasbourg, Koblenz, Rüdesheim and Speyer, a drive through the Black Forest to Titisee, a full-day excursion to Lucerne and the Bernese Oberland, and a visit to Breisach.

The lead-in price is £1,819.

Passengers on the Rhine and Moselle sailing will take seven guided tours to destinations including Cologne, Koblenz, Bernkastel and Trier and prices start from £2,129.

The Rhine, Strasbourg and Heidelberg itinerary costs from £2,269 and includes guided tours of Strasbourg, Heidelberg, Cologne, Rüdesheim, Boppard, Mainz and Koblenz, and a visit to Colmar.

Guests travelling on the Danube can join an escorted tour extension in either Budapest or Prague, while passengers travelling on the Rhine can take a city-break in either Basel or Cologne.

All cruises, tour extensions and city stays include return flights and transfers or travel via the Eurostar, full board and excursions.

Tom Morgan, head of trade UK & Ireland, told Travel Weekly: “This offer means we can give our October sailings a bit of a push as a lot of people don’t realise we offer extensions.

“Our longer duration holidays are selling really well and we think this offer will be a great excuse for people to spend a bit of extra time away enjoying their break.”
