Titan Travel has rejoined the Association of Touring and Adventure Suppliers (Atas) as the operator sees travel agents as a “vital” part of its “ambitious growth plans”.
The escorted tour operator left Atas amid the pandemic but is now keen to reconnect and showcase its products to the trade.
Hayley Morris (pictured), head of trade, said: “Supporting our agent partners is of the utmost importance and I feel Atas is a great avenue for us to do that.
“By becoming a member again, we can showcase our award-winning tours and their key selling points, while keeping agents up to date with our latest trade incentives.
“Travel agents are a significant, and growing, part of our business.”

Titan Travel expands range of private jet tours
She said the operator plans an “extensive” fam trip programme in 2023 and 2024 alongside its monthly trade incentives, marketing support, consumer events and trade website.
Titan is also expanding its premium jet programme, which offers agents the opportunity to earn significant commissions, added Morris.
She continued: “Customers are certainly booking bucket-list types of tours, including our premium jet itineraries, with longer durations and higher spends, highlighting their desire to make up for lost time in recent years.
“We have an array of different age ranges, including a lot of solo travellers – we have seen the solo market really picking up.”
Morris said Titan had a record-breaking peaks sales season, and thanked agents for their role during the January-March period.
“Trade bookings continue to grow and are still a vitally important part of our business,” she added.
“We have seen pricing increase slightly into 2023…inflationary cost increases are something we have to factor in.
“However, we’re very proud to still be offering exceptional value for money and remain very competitive in the touring market.
“While cost-of-living pressures are a very real issue for many, our target market is arguably one of the least affected.
“We’ve seen average spending increase, highlighting customers’ willingness and desire to secure the tour they are looking for, make up for lost time, and go on that bucket list trip.”
She said the 2024 brochure is being launched on May 2 “providing a huge opportunity for our travel agent partners to secure new sales”.
Claire Brighton, Atas account director, said: “I am thrilled to welcome Titan back to Atas. They offer so much to travel agents, with a very varied range of products and great marketing and training support, so it will be great to see them back at our events and taking part in Atas activities.”
