TTC Tour Brands expands ‘walkie talkies’ scheme with agents

TTC Tour Brands is expanding its Walkie Talkies initiative, which sees homeworking sales manager Donna Nelson visit homeworkers for a stroll and chat about touring holidays.

Designed as an alternative to traditional store visits, Walkie Talkies offers home-based agents an opportunity to connect with the brands.

Accompanied by her canine companion, Arla, Nelson has travelled the country meeting travel agents for coffee, strolls and conversation about TTC Tour Brands.

She said the initiative has been met with “resounding enthusiasm”, providing agents with an informal way to stay updated.

“We’ve seen firsthand how beneficial these sessions have been, and we’re thrilled to continue Walkie Talkies into 2025,” said Nelson.

“It’s a fantastic way to bring the industry closer together in a format that suits today’s travel professionals.”

Walkie Talkies visited agents in Kent on Thursday (February 27) and will visit others in Surrey on May 6, with a full schedule of stops across the UK to follow.

Agents interested in a visit can email donna.nelson@ttc.com
