Wonky Sheep Travel extends deal with Football Association of Wales

Welsh tour operator Wonky Sheep Travel has extended its official fan travel partnership with the Football Association of Wales.

The partnership began in 2018 and the operator took Wales fans to the Uefa Euro 2020 tournament, despite Covid restrictions, and the Fifa World Cup 2022, in Qatar.

Dave Dulin, director of Wonky Sheep, said: “We’ve grown our profile over the past few years despite some challenging times and have seen a massive increase in the number of fans travelling with us on away trips.

“We’re looking to further strengthen our offering for the men’s team over the coming years, and as support grows for the women’s team, start offering away trips for those too.”

The new long-term agreement will also see the launch of the Wales Away Travel Club which gives members priority on booking trips at the lowest rate and other general travel benefits.

Noel Mooney, chief executive of the Football Association of Wales, said: “We’re delighted to extend our partnership with Wonky Sheep to give our amazing Wales away fans great options to support the team.

“The Red Wall always travel in great numbers and this will continue thanks to the expertise of our official fan travel partners.”

Elsewhere, Wonky Sheep has also joined forces with Newcastle United Supporters’ Club to offer travel options for the team’s upcoming Champions League campaign.
