Royal Caribbean extends land-based offering with Bahamas beach club

The first in a planned series of Royal Caribbean beach clubs is due to open in The Bahamas in a year’s time.

Royal Beach Club Paradise Island is the latest land-based holiday initiative from the line.

The brand’s growing portfolio includes Labadee in Haiti, Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas, Royal Beach Club Cozumel to open in 2026 and Perfect Day Mexico in 2027.

The new Royal Beach Club, spanning 17 acres on the western end of Paradise Island, will include three swim-up bars, seven beach bars and more than 40 cabanas across three zones.

All-inclusive day passes and cabanas will be available to buy in the spring of 2025.

The resort will be served by ships from six US cities including Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Port Canaveral in Florida; Cape Liberty, New Jersey; Galveston, Texas, and Baltimore.

Itineraries range from three nights by Utopia of the Seas to seven nights on Symphony of the Seas.

More information about Royal Beach Club Paradise Island and the vacation brand’s growing destination lineup will be revealed in the coming months, according to the line.

Royal Caribbean International president and chief executive Michael Bayley said: ”The Royal Beach Club collection is designed for every type of family and vacationer to get everything they want out of their ideal beach day – no matter the vibe they’re looking for.

“With the first-of-its-kind Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, we continue to super-serve our guests with a tailored experience at one of our most highly visited destinations, building on nearly five decades of collaboration with the community and government of The Bahamas.”
