The Original Tour bus company has been rebranded as Tootbus and improved its trade portal to make it easier for travel agents to book its sightseeing trips.
Sister brand Bath Bus Company has also become Tootbus as part of the groupwide overhaul.
The companies are owned by transportation parent company RATP Group and operate in Paris and Brussels as well as the UK, where tours operate tours to the sights in Bath, Bristol, Cardiff and to Windsor as well as in London.
The rebrand has been officially launched alongside a revamp of the company’s digital platforms.
The trade portal has been made more user-friendly, with access for agents to to the company’s entire product range, including its traditional hop on, hop off bus tours and its themed tours, which take place on set dates and times. They include special kids tours, ‘bar’ buses with drinks on board and live music tours.
Agents now have complete control to manage booking amendments and cancellations on the site, lessening the need to contact the company for confirmation of booking changes. The company can also work with partners on a direct API integrated payment model or via a channel manager took or QR code export basis.
The company has also rebuilt its commission structure to further incentivise agent sales, said Tootbus London managing director Catherine Booth.
She added: “We are working towards digitalising our B2B sales processes and we now have more capabilities to connect with our agents than ever before. We are always looking to expand our distribution network and explore new opportunities.”
