Tui beefs up digital capability with 125,000 extra transfers

Tui Group is strengthening its digital platform capabilities in a deal with US-based travel and transportation technology business Mozio.

Mozio’s transfer inventory has been integrated with TUI’s digital distribution channels, providing more than 125,000 additional transfer options in over 125 countries.

The partnership continues the ongoing digital acceleration taking place across Tui and supports the growth of its tours and activities division.

Tui sold approximately 31 million transfers prior to the pandemic in 2019.

The integration with Mozio is the first step in a strategic initiative by Europe’s largest travel group to consolidate all transfer business under a single Tui digital platform.

The new partnership reflects current travel trends, including stronger demand for private transfers and a desire from customers for more control, flexibility and choice during their holiday.

The Mozio inventory is already available on some Tui websites for customers.

Travel partners across Europe can access thousands of additional transfer options via the Tui Agency Tool.

The Mozio inventory will eventually be available on all Tui websites, enabling customers from all source markets to upgrade or add transfer options.
