Details of world cruise itineraries for 2024-25 have been released by Viking as there line reported strong demand for extended sailings.
A new 180-day world voyage by Viking Sky is scheduled to depart Fort Lauderdale in Florida on December 19, 2024 to cover 37 countries and 85 ports before finishing in New York on June 17, 2025. Prices start at £62,990.
A shorter 163-day portion of the sailing by the 930-passenger ship departs from Los Angeles on January 5, 2025 and visits 29 countries and 78 ports before ending in New York.
A 138-day option covers the journey from Fort Lauderdale to Greenwich in London, while a 121-day portion covers Los Angeles to London.
The full circumnavigation includes overnight stays in 13 ports, such as Sydney, Haifa, Singapore and Istanbul, and double overnights in Auckland, Bali, Ho Chi Minh, Yangon, Mumbai and Bergen.
Those booking by March 31 receive one-way business class flights from the UK, all onboard gratuities and service fees, a complimentary visa service and beverage package which includes “virtually all” drinks on board.
All world cruise passengers receive a £1,600 shore excursions credit as well as £800 onboard credit for spa services, onboard shops and laundry. Viking Explorer Society loyalty scheme members receive an additional £800 per person shipboard credit.
