A new ship is being added to the Amadeus River Cruises fleet next year.
Amadeus Mira will accommodate 158 passengers in 67 cabins and 12 suites with balconies.
The new ship, due to enter service in spring 2027 as the 13th in the fleet, will feature environmental technologies such as a hybrid propulsion system and an efficient heat recovery system.
Amadeus Mira will operate a range of itineraries on the Rhine and Danube rivers including cruises from Amsterdam, from Trier to Passau, voyages to the Danube Delta, and a 15-day sailing from Amsterdam to Budapest.
Features include a sun deck with outdoor pool and bar and a fitness room.
The details emerged as the company issued its 2027 river cruise programme, including 30 new shore excursions.
This is the earliest release of holidays in the UK, coming on the back of increased customer demand.
The 2027 programme includes 15 different itineraries through France, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania.
A range of active excursions have been introduced, featuring guided cycling tours through the Camargue and north of the Netherlands, e-bike routes along the Danube in the Wachau and Klosterneuburg, and guided hikes.
Prices lead-in at £1,420 per person for a five-day Magic of Advent on the Rhine cruise on Amadeus Mira departing on December 12, 2027, including return flights from the UK, overseas transfers, all meals, beer and wine with lunch and dinner, gratuities and up to €200 per person onboard credit.
Discounts of up to £1,041 per person apply if booked before February 29, 2027.
Company founder and chief executive Wolfgang Lueftner said: “Standing still is not an option for us. With our annual newbuilds, our fleet remains one of the most modern, while our continually evolving excursion programme offers guests experiences found only with Amadeus.
"We provide tailor-made experiences for every taste - whether cultural enthusiasts, food and wine lovers, or active travellers.”
