B2B operator Classic Collection is expanding its ‘Junior Hotel Inspectors’ initiative to include adults.
Launched last year, the ‘Junior Hotel Inspectors’ scheme saw 11 children from travel industry families visit hotels across Cyprus and Turkey, reviewing kids’ clubs, pools, entertainment and food.
Following the “incredible” success in 2024, the kids’ scheme will run again this year – and the concept will be expanded to offer a ‘Senior Hotel Inspector’ programme.
Jorge Quibell, head of sales, said: “We were blown away by how well this concept was received, as it had never been done before.
“It’s not just a great experience for the agents and their children, but it’s incredibly valuable for our hotel partners too.
“Getting genuine feedback from kids gives us a whole new perspective on what really matters to families when they go on holiday.”
The ‘Senior Hotel Inspector’ scheme will give agent partners the chance to take a parent, grandparent, friend or relative to experience an adults-only hotel.
The 2025 edition of Junior Hotel Inspectors will be officially launched during a lunch for agents hosted by Classic Collection ahead of the Agent Achievement Awards, with trips taking place in November.
Details on how agents can get involved with both the Junior and forthcoming Senior Hotel Inspector programmes will be revealed soon in the Classic Collection Agent Facebook Group.
