Florida and Asia specialists fail as Atol holders

Two travel firms have failed as Atol holders, the Civil Aviation Authority has confirmed.

Glasgow-based Simply Florida Travel ceased trading on January 20.

The company operated under the names Simply Florida Travel and website www.simplyfloridatravel.com.

The business operated under a franchise arrangement with The Travel Trust Association. 

The CAA said: “Consumers who require assistance regarding their booking, should contact TTA directly by emailing customerservices@thetravelnetworkgroup.co.uk."

Meanwhile, Ipswich-based Asia specialist operator Asiara UK, trading under the names Asiara Holidays and website www.asiara-holidays.com, folded on January 21.

The company operated under a franchise arrangement with Protected Trust Services. 

“Consumers who require assistance regarding their booking, should contact PTS directly by emailing emma.collis@protectedtrustservices.com," the CAA noted.
