HX’s chief commercial officer Alex Delamere-White is set to leave the business on October 31 following a restructure of the line’s executive leadership team.
Delamere-White joined the expedition operator in July 2023 having previously held sales leadership roles at P&O Cruises, Princess Cruises and Carnival UK.
It is understood the decision to restructure was led by HX chief executive Gebhard Rainer and made through a “mutual and collaborative process” with every member of the executive leadership team.
Delamere-White said: “It has been a privilege to be part of HX’s journey and to work alongside such a talented and committed team.
“I am proud of what we have achieved together in establishing HX as a standalone business and in building strong foundations for the future.
“I leave with full confidence that HX will continue to flourish.”
He added: “Robust teams are firmly in place to continue to lead our commercial strategy, and our trade partners can be assured that these changes will not impact the strength of our relationships or the continuity of our plans.
“With demand across our core destinations remaining healthy, I know the business is well positioned for continued success.”
A HX spokesperson said: “We can confirm that we have restructured our executive leadership team.
“This new structure was carefully designed and agreed with the full executive team, reflecting a shared belief that a flatter, more streamlined leadership approach is right for the global business we have become.”
“Since separating from the [Hurtigruten] group in 2024, the standalone business has successfully evolved from its start-up phase, focused on brand building into a stable, established organisation where the emphasis is now on operational excellence and sustainable growth.
"This new structure supports our strategic focus, ensures greater agility, and positions us for long-term success.”
