Fred Olsen Cruise Lines has reported its “strongest ever launch day” for its 2027 programme, surpassing its previous revenue record set by its 2027 world cruise launch in April by 39%.
The 2027 range went on sale on October 1 featuring 70 voyages and sales on that day were nearly double the autumn and winter 2026 launch in March.
The top-selling itineraries included Svalbard, Arctic Norway & the Midnight Sun from Newcastle, Greenland’s Fjords, Mountains & Icebergs from Liverpool and Discovering North Africa & Malta from Liverpool.
For cruises departing from January 2026, all bookings will be on the all-inclusive Freedom Fare.
Fred Olsen Cruise Lines head of sales Geoff Ridgeon said: “Wednesday’s results represent the hard work and dedication our teams put into every sailing, as well as the fantastic support from our agent partners, and we are delighted to be celebrating our strongest launch day ever.
He added: “I’d like to extend my thanks to our trade partners for their continued support in making this launch such a success – we look forward to welcoming many more guests on board for these exceptional adventures in 2027.”
