Tour operator Mercury Holidays has started offering courses through Online Travel Training (OTT).
The training, consisting of five lessons, is designed to equip agents with brand and product knowledge.
Each of the five lessons is divided into 16 slides and a five-question quiz, with the lesson topics covering an introduction to Mercury Holidays, escorted tours, touring destinations, wider product (beach holidays, cruises and multi-centre trips) and travel agent tools and benefits.
Joshua Harford, agency sales and commercial manager at Mercury Holidays, said: “Our aim is to equip agents with the knowledge and confidence they need to sell our holidays effectively, keeping Mercury Holidays top of mind when recommending escorted tours and beach breaks to their clients.
“When agents clearly see the benefits for both their customers and themselves – including our agent incentives – we hope it will inspire even greater enthusiasm to book with us and continue the strong support we’ve appreciated over the years.”
Mercury Holidays’ product range includes beach packages and escorted tours, encompassing private tours, solo departures, rail journeys, walking tours, river and ocean cruising and multi-centre holidays.
