Abta has revealed its annual Holiday Habits report will be discussed by senior figures from G Adventures, Barrhead Travel and Kuoni during a “breakout session” at The Travel Convention 2025.
The annual report gives detail on how people travelled in the past 12 months and outlines their holiday plans for the year ahead.
During a session led by Abta communications director Graeme Buck, the findings will be discussed by experienced industry leaders.
The panel will consist of Nick Hughes, director of growth for the UK and Ireland at G Adventures; Nicki Tempest-Mitchell, managing director of Barrhead Travel; and Sarah Weetman, head of trade partnerships at Kuoni.
The convention takes place in Calvia, Majorca, from October 6-8.
A beach clean-up organised by the Mallorca Preservation Foundation and easyJet holidays has been scheduled on the opening day at Platja de Santa Ponça.
Participants will gain insights into the impact of plastic pollution in Majorca, the types of waste found, how tourists can reduce their footprint and how travel agencies can promote more conscious tourism.
