The Travel Village Group has moved into its new headquarters at The Pavilions in Blackpool as part of its “strategic growth plan”.
The move for the group, which comprises The Travel Village, The Holiday Village, Southampton Cruise Centre and RiverCruising.co.uk, will see the admin, care and finance teams join commercial, marketing, e-commerce, content and product work under the same roof to “strengthen interdepartmental collaboration” and “drive greater efficiency across the business”.
The relocation also aims to enhance the support available for Holiday Village business owners and create opportunities to develop The Travel Village’s retail space on Blackpool’s Highfield Road.
About 40 people are currently working from the new premises, with additional space for visiting tour operator partners.
Chief executive Phil Nuttall said the move represented “a major step forward” in the family business’s long-term strategy.
He said: “Our aim is to make The Travel Village a strong national brand within the next 12 months - but we’ll do that through technology, e-commerce, and meaningful customer connections, not by adding more shops.
“With the right space and people in place, our Highfield Road location will become a true destination for customer events, supplier showcases and immersive travel experiences.”
Managing director Paula Nuttall added: “Our family business has always been built on people, relationships and service.
“This investment ensures our teams can work more closely together, supporting our travel partners and continuing to deliver the personal service our customers know and trust.”
Commercial manager Richard Cross said it was “fantastic” to now have all of the non-sales side of the business’s “passion, knowledge and expertise” under one roof.
He said: “With new recruitment, ongoing investment in key areas of the business, and our fantastic new headquarters, the future looks very exciting for everyone at Travel Village Group.”
