Virgin Voyages has partnered with iHeartMedia to launch a ’True Crime Voyage’ in the Caribbean.
The five-night sailing on Valiant Lady will depart from Miami on October 10 and include live recordings, behind-the-scenes workshops and exclusive meet-and-greet opportunities with podcast hosts from shows including Betrayal, Buried Bones and Stuff They Don’t Want You to Know, as well as other themed entertainment, cocktails, food and special giveaways linked to famous cases.
The voyage will also have beach stops in Puerto Plata and call at the adult-only line’s private island in Bimini.
Prices start at £1,257 per person for a Sea View cabin.
Virgin Voyages chief marketing officer and head of sales Nathan Rosenberg said: "We’ve tapped into a massive fandom and paired it with our uniquely elevated product.
"This gives First Mates (travel agents) something different to sell with an experience built on passion, pop culture and premium value. The demand is already there; now advisors can be the ones to bring it to life."
He added: "This exclusive, one-time-only itinerary is the kind of product that drives new conversations and bookings.
"We’re giving First Mates a reason to reach out, re-engage past clients or tap into niche groups. It’s exciting, bookable and profitable.”
