Specialist trade-only tour operator Africa & Beyond has launched a high-end brochure as it moves to offer more exclusive safari experiences.
The Distinguished Journeys brochure is dedicated to “positioning Africa as a premier destination”, showcasing a range of itineraries spanning South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and the Indian Ocean.
Highlights of the brochure include Africa in Elegance: Savute, Okavango & Cape Town, a 10-day itinerary that takes in Botswana’s Chobe National Park and the Okavango Delta before concluding in Cape Town. It includes stays at three Belmond properties: Savute Elephant Lodge, Eagle Island Lodge and Mount Nelson.
There’s also the week-long Wild Majesty & Mountain Grandeur itinerary in Kenya, which features stays at Virgin Limited Edition’s Mahali Mzuri in the Masai Mara and Finch Hattons in Tsavo West. Travellers can choose to extend the trip with an add-on to the Kenyan coast or Zanzibar.
Africa & Beyond unveiled the brochure at an exclusive event in London on September 30, where 30 travel agent partners had the chance to network with a variety of suppliers featured in the collection.
Suppliers at the event included Belmond, Bespoke Earth, Sabi Sabi Collection, Time + Tide and Kwando Safari, among others.
Alongside the brochure, Africa & Beyond also revealed its new brand logo and identity, which is “designed to reflect the company’s evolution as a leading tour operator in the luxury African travel space”.
Africa & Beyond’s sales director, Jamie Taylor, said: “The Distinguished Journeys brochure is designed to differentiate our premium brand. When it comes to luxury safari holidays, clients want that specialist service and knowledge, and that’s what we can offer the trade.”
Managing director, Matt Purser, added: “This launch was far more than the unveiling of a brochure. It marked a new chapter for Africa & Beyond, one where Distinguished Journeys positions Africa at the forefront of luxury travel. At the same time, our refreshed identity reflects a company that is modern, dynamic and guided by purpose.
“As a trade-only operator, we remain dedicated to working exclusively with the travel trade, giving our partners the tools they need to create truly extraordinary journeys.”
