Air France aims to operate at near pre-pandemic 2019 levels this winter following strong demand during the summer.
The French flag carrier is deploying 98% of pre-pandemic capacity on long-haul routes from Paris between November and next March
The network covers 167 destinations – 84 long-haul and 83 medium-haul.
But flights to and from Tel Aviv remain suspended until October 31 amid the Israel-Gaza conflict.
The schedule recovery sees capacity raised 60% year-on-year to Asia, driven by China and Japan, but still below 2019 levels despite daily flights resuming to Bangkok.
Transatlantic capacity is being increased by 20% compared to 2019 with Raleigh-Durham in North Carolina added as the airline’s 14th US destination from October 30 with three flights a week.
An Ottawa service is being extended into the winter season as the airline schedules 212 flights a week to 20 points in the US, Canada and Mexico.
Latin America and Caribbean services are being bolstered with the introduction of daily service to San Jose in Costa Rica and new route between Guadeloupe and Saint-Martin.
Abu Dhabi will be served from October 29 as part of co-operation with Etihad Airways.
A route to Dar Es Salaam in Tanzania started in June as a continuation of service to Zanzibar (Tanzania), is being extended into the winter.
But flights to Niamey in Niger, Bamako, Mali and Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso remain suspended until further notice due to safety concerns, according to the carrier.
