Holiday Extras is to provide holiday add-ons to Turkish leisure carrier SunExpress.
The offer will initially be available for B2C customers, with B2B solutions expected to follow in the future.
The collaboration from next month will see Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines joint venture carrier offer passengers airport hotels in Europe and private transfers and public shuttles worldwide using Holiday Extras’ technology.
The tie-in comes as Sun Express expanded its UK network by starting three summer flights a week between Leeds Bradford airport and Antalya.
SunExpress commercial director Peter Glade (pictured left) said: “The vacation usually doesn’t start at the destination, but rather when you leave the house.
“We want to offer our passengers this feeling of lightness through our partnership with Holiday Extras.
“From a relaxed early morning departure to arrival in a foreign country, our guests can relax from their everyday lives without worries.
“With Holiday Extras we have found the ideal partner to reliably extend our service before and after the flight.”
Holiday Extras Munich joint general manager Johannes Mehrer added: “SunExpress is an absolute expert when it comes to holidays in Turkey and, with its diverse route networks, offers us new opportunities to reach travellers throughout Europe.
“For us, this important co-operation is the next step in the expansion of our European portfolio and offering, and we are excited to be taking our next step on that journey with our new partner.”
