Ryanair unveils new Cardiff and Bristol winter routes

Budget carrier Ryanair has unveiled two new additions for its winter 2022-23 schedule, with services from Cardiff to Faro in Portugal, and Bristol to Bydgoszcz, Poland.

The new Cardiff winter service to Faro (pictured), on the Algarve coast, is an extension of the summer 2022 operation.

Flights will depart twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays, from October 30.

Spencer Birns, Cardiff airport chief executive, said: “It is fantastic news that Ryanair is extending its Faro flying programme at Cardiff airport into the winter season, providing an increased choice of holiday options for those people looking to escape later in the year.

“Famous for its great weather, fantastic beaches and delicious local food, Faro, and indeed Portugal, is an in-demand destination from Cardiff at any time of the year.”

The service from Bydgoszcz to Bristol also starts from October 30.

It will operate twice per week, bringing the number of destinations served by Ryanair from Bydgoszcz for winter 2022 to five, as the carrier already offers Dublin, Birmingham, Luton and Stansted from the Polish airport.
