The agency’s World Cup offering will include tailored travel experiences, ticket-inclusive options, and ‘Follow My Team’ packages.
Barrhead Travel managing director Nicki Tempest-Mitchell said: “This is a landmark partnership for Barrhead Travel, and we couldn’t be happier to be supporting the Scotland team and their fans as they look ahead to the Fifa World Cup next year.
“We’re no strangers to helping sports fans experience tournaments and matches across the world. With strong partnerships with the world’s leading airlines, operators, hotels and sports experience companies, we’re well-placed to be looking after the Scotland supporters for what will truly be a bucket-list experience.
“Extending the partnership beyond the Fifa World Cup is incredibly exciting and we’re particularly looking forward to supporting our local communities through youth engagement programmes.
“As one of Scotland’s major advocates of apprenticeships, supporting young people in the communities we operate in is an absolutely priority for us.”
A portion of Barrhead Travel’s investment will be ring-fenced to support some of the Scottish FA’s most grassroots programmes.
Scottish Football Marketing commercial director Brendan Napier said: “We’re really pleased to have secured this exciting new partnership with Barrhead Travel.
“We know thousands of Scotland’s most dedicated supporters will have been pouring over the details of how best to get to next summer’s FIFA World Cup.
“It should reassure them to hear directly from experts in the industry, who will ensure they get the best possible advice and packages to choose from.
“It’s shaping up to be a memorable summer and we’re delighted to have Barrhead Travel on board for it.”
Martin Doherty, head of business development at Scottish Football Marketing, added: “We know supporters will attend the Fifa World Cup in their droves, and this partnership gives us the peace of mind to know that they are being well looked after.”
