Celebrity Cruises and Royal Caribbean have hosted a joint training session for more than 40 agents in Manchester.
Travel partners from across the UK and Ireland attended the event at the DoubleTree by Hilton on June 4 which was led by Celebrity Cruises EMEA training manager Leon Hand and Royal Caribbean EMEA training manager Kristi Reeser.
New-to-cruise and new-to-travel agents were invited to attend the interactive workshops which also offered the chance to win prizes and network with fellow travel professionals.

Topics covered in the training included selling tips and both brands’ new ships, including Celebrity Xcel due to enter service in November and Star of the Seas debuting this summer.
Nicola McNeish, director of UK and Ireland sales at Celebrity Cruises, said: “We’re delighted to work alongside our sister brand, Royal Caribbean to deliver training specifically designed to support agents who are new to cruise, or new to the industry.”
