Staff from Oasis Travel have completed a 48-hour cycling challenge to raise funds for the Northern Ireland Pancreatic Cancer charity (NIPANC).
On June 6, 20 colleagues took part in the 480-mile challenge around Northern Ireland and, so far, have fundraised £8,766 of their £10,000 target from 166 donations.
The team was cycling in memory of Gary Corkin, the agency’s former finance director and brother to executive director Sandra Corkin, who died of pancreatic cancer in 2020, as well as other friends and family who have also died of the disease.
Oasis Travel put together a team for last year’s challenge and raised £13,500.
