Celebrity River Cruises’ 2027 sailings across two of the fleet’s new-build ships have sold out in less than five hours.
The general sale for the new offering from the ocean line opened on September 25, following its priority access booking selling out in six minutes on September 3.
The first two ships in the initial order of 10, Celebrity Compass and Celebrity Seeker, will operate 33 seven-night sailings on the Rhine and the Danube throughout the year.

Each ship is expected to have capacity for about 170 passengers, and all voyages will be all-inclusive with food, drinks packages, one excursion per day, onboard activities and a Wi-Fi package in the price.
Speaking on a previous Travel Weekly webcast, Celebrity Cruises vice-president Giles Hawke promised there would be more opportunities for the UK trade to book on their clients with at least eight more ships coming online.
He added there would be “more to come” on announcements around venues and innovations on the ships, which will join an always-open top deck, retractable Magic Edge dining pods, infinity plunge pool and eight bars and restaurants, including favourites from Celebrity’s ocean-going ships, Café Arbacho and Martini Bar.
Celebrity Cruises said details of 2028 sailings would be unveiled early next year
