Ambassador offers eSIMS to improve mobile connectivity

Ambassador Cruise Line is offering improved on board mobile phone connectivity.

The ex-UK specialist is to provide eSIMS to remove concerns about mobile data roaming charges when travelling.

The data packages start at £10 for 1GB to £60 for 10GB to provide connectivity both on board and ashore.

The eSIMs can be purchased on board or via an online pre-registration portal.

Meanwhile, infrared loop systems have been installed in the show lounges on both Ambassador ships, Ambience and Ambition, to support those with impaired hearing.

The infrared hearing system is an assistive audio system to aid communication.

Passengers will be provided with either a headset or an induction neck loop. These devices can be connected to telecoil-enabled hearing aids or cochlear implants to ensure clear and enhanced sound quality.
