MSC World America to debut two venue concepts

MSC Cruises’ newest ship will include two new dining and entertainment venues.

The ship will sail into Miami next April with a new sports bar and new adults-only comedy club (pictured bottom right and top left), with all venues and concepts are “tailored specifically to the US market”.

MSC World America will also have venues that have been introduced on other ships like MSC World Europa like Elixir Mixology Bar, Masters of the Seas British-style pub, The Gin Project, Coffee Emporium, an upgraded Sweet Temptations (pictured top right) and Jean Phillippe Chocolat & Café (pictured bottom left).

The flagship will also be the first ship in the fleet to feature seven districts designed for passengers of all ages to “choose their own holiday adventure”.

MSC World America will launch in April 2025 and sail from Port Miami in the Caribbean during its inaugural season.

Bernhard Stacher, MSC Cruises’ senior vice-president of shipboard hospitality operations, said: “New experiences await guests throughout MSC World America, and when it comes to bars, lounges as well as destinations to grab a sweet treat, we’ve worked hard to bring something truly unique to this ground-breaking ship.

“In a first for MSC Cruises, we will be debuting two brand-new lounge concepts – All-Stars Sports Bar, offering an authentic game-day atmosphere with all-American fare and bar games, and The Loft, a multi-purpose venue for comedy, karaoke and more.

“Across the ship, we’ve also enhanced the drink menus, with upscale cocktails, more bourbons, American-style beers and gin from craft American distilleries to elevate the experience and make sure guests find something perfect for every occasion.”
