The Travel Village Group has appointed Paul Hunter as head of product to "spearhead" a cruise dynamic packaging project.
Hunter, who has already started in the role, joined from Cruise1st, where he spent 19 years as product manager and then head of product, helping develop dynamic packages and expanding the company’s product offering.
In the new role at The Travel Village Group, he will be responsible for the cruise dynamic packaging product and will work closely with group product manager Jess Nuttall to “deliver a broader range of tailor-made cruise holidays to customers”.
The aim is for this to drive growth, increase margins across the business and enhance the flexibility of the company’s cruise portfolio, the agency said.
Travel Village Group co-owner Phil Nuttall said: "Paul’s wealth of experience and reputation in the industry make him a perfect fit for our team. This project isn’t just about creating product - it’s about educating and inspiring our sellers across all our brands to think dynamically, ensuring we continue delivering exceptional value and choice to our customers.
“Both Paula and myself are looking forward to bringing new product and destinations alive to our guests through our media channels, as husband and wife, leading our family business."
Hunter said: "I’m thrilled to be joining such a well-respected, family-run business that has innovation and customer care at its core.
“Dynamic packaging is the next step in making cruise holidays more accessible and better value for customers, and I’m excited to be part of that journey."
