The shortlists for three of the special categories in the Travel Weekly Globe Travel Awards have been unveiled.
The finalists in the Sustainable Future, Travel for All and Employer of the Year categories will attend a spectacular ceremony at London’s JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel on January 15, when the winners will be revealed.
Two other special awards, for Outstanding Achievement and an Unsung Hero, will also be announced at the event alongside a host of supplier categories based on the votes of thousands of Travel Weekly readers.
Lucy Huxley, editor-in-chief, said: “Excitement is building for the biggest event in the leisure travel calendar, and the strength of our special awards shortlists is testament to the Globe Awards’ importance to the travel trade.
“Judging has been completed in these highly competitive categories and I would like to congratulate all those brands that have made it to
this stage.
“I look forward to honouring their efforts and celebrating all our winners at our flagship event in London on January 15.”
