Fred Olsen Travel has rewarded eight of its top-performing retail agents with a four-night cruise on Oceania Allura, the newest ship in the fleet.
The agents had each individually secured more than £1 million in sales last year and joined Allura’s shakedown sailing from Genoa to Trieste with a stop in Split.
The eight agents were Emily Jacobs, Madeleine Mayes and Annie Clougherty from the Felixstowe branch; Helen Jordan from the Ipswich branch; Samantha O’Connor from the Lymington branch; Gayle Nicholls from the Worldspan branch; Charlotte Robson from the Westbourne branch; and Nigel Alexander from the Dorchester branch.
Catherine Wassell from the Solent World branch is also a million-pound seller but was unable to attend the cruise.
The trip was hosted by director of retail Paul Hardwick and head of commercial Tracy Clenshaw, while commercial executive Natasha Chaplin also attended.
The group had the chance to take part in culinary masterclasses and dine in speciality restaurants Red Ginger and Polo Grill.
Hardwick said: “I was thrilled to get our top-selling agents from our retail shops on the brand-new Allura.
“It’s a beautiful ship and it was the perfect way to celebrate their individual successes from last year, while giving them the opportunity to experience such a wonderful, luxury product.
“I’d like to thank Paul Beale, Louise Craddock, Mark Godden, and the entire team at Oceania Cruises for supporting Fred Olsen Travel in hosting this incredible trip.”
He added: “We’re already seeing results with ‘Ask the Luxury Experts’ events planned in-store, where our million pound sellers will share their experiences directly with customers.
“We look forward to continuing to support Oceania Cruises with future bookings.”
