Holland America Line launches South America and Antarctic 2027-28 voyages

Holland America Line has put its South America and Antarctica 2027-28 voyages on sale.

Between November 2027 and March 2028, Zuiderdam and Oosterdam will offer 14 to 31-day sailings in the region, with departures from Buenos Aires in Argentina, San Antonio (for Santiago) in Chile as well as Fort Lauderdale and Miami in Florida.

The season will feature nine scenic cruising opportunities, including a four-day Antarctic Experience and views of the Pío XI Glacier, Glacier Alley, the Beagle Channel and the Chilean Fjords.

On selected South America sailings, shore excursions to Macchu Pichu and the Galapagos Islands will be available.

Highlights include a 14 to 15-day South America Pathways: Chilean Fjords & Glaciers itinerary on Oosterdam, which will have multiple departures, and sail between Buenos Aires and San Antonio (for Santiago), with chances to see Glacier Alley, the Beagle Channel, Cape Horn and Pío XI Glacier, with prices starting from £2,828.

Another is the 28-day Legendary Amazon Explorer on Zuiderdam which will be a roundtrip from Miami departing on February 5, 2028.

The voyage will include overnight stays in Manaus and ports of call in Parintins, Alter do Chão, Santarém, Boca da Valeria, Martinique, Barbados and St. Lucia, with prices starting from £6,119.
