Cultural adventure specialist Inside Travel has launched its first series of webinars designed to help agents selling tours to Asia.
Billed as ‘not another boring webinar’, the seminars promise to boost destination knowledge and highlight the unique qualities and stories of small group tours.
The webinar series sits together with the ‘Agent Insider Programme’ which was launched earlier this year.
Agents are required to watch just one webinar to qualify for the programme and the chance to win a cultural adventure worth £25,000 or one of 10 free small group tour places.
Gabo Quiros, global trade sales manager, said: “We know that the agents are busy trying to give their customers the best and we want to help them do that. We believe that these webinars are a great place for new agents to start that journey with us and, for agents that already know us, to reconnect, refresh their own insight and pick up some tips.
“As agent partners that already work with us will know, Inside Travel is all about its people.”
There are four webinars from May to July covering South Korea, Japan and southeast Asia.
Quiros added: “Vietnam and Thailand, but Japan and Korea especially are very much in demand and now in our 25th anniversary year with so much collective experience of selling and destination knowledge, this is where we can really highlight some of the elements that make a cultural adventure standout from other trips.
“Feedback from an initial Japan seminar we did last month suggests that agents found them very useful indeed and will come back for more.
“Inside Travel trade sales are up 25% this quarter for very good reason and we expect that these webinars will help that number increase.”
