Hayley Edwards has been named by Not Just Travel in the newly created position of channel partnership manager.
She brings 20 years of experience working for Virgin Atlantic and joins the homeworking group from Sykes Cottages.
Edwards held various positions at the airline, including corporate sales, partnership marketing and supply relations.
In her new role she will lead the group’s’s Partners in Travel initiative, a scheme that empowers consultants to build partnerships with local businesses, charities and community groups to generate new revenue streams and expand the company’s reach.
The programme has helped attract bookings worth £53,000 and £12,000 raised for charity.
Further support is planned through new marketing tools, training and events to help consultants.
Edwards will be responsible for developing marketing collateral to help agents maintain visibility with their partners.
She will also deliver training webinars and presentations at events, offering consultants strategic guidance on building and growing their partner portfolios.
The initiative encourages consultants to work with smaller, community-focused businesses, as well as charities, who can refer customers seeking holiday bookings.
