Turkish budget carrier Pegasus Airlines has introduced flights between Bristol and Istanbul.
Three flights a week will be offered to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International airport.
The service will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays
The route provided connections to more than 150 destinations within Turkey and across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and Asia.
One-way fares from Bristol to Istanbul start at £70 including taxes.
The new route was announced in April with Bristol airport touting the onward connections to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Egypt, Morocco, Doha, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Georgia.
