C&M Travel Recruitment has re-hired two former employees who left the industry after being placed on furlough as it looks to fill a spike in vacancies.
Shannon O’Callaghan and Alex McLeish will help clients identify individuals in the UK and have been described as “highly-skilled travel recruiters” by C&M.
Vacancies have increased by more than 150% since early summer, said C&M, with the company reporting recruitment was “nearing pre-pandemic levels”.
Barbara Kolosinska, director at C&M Travel Recruitment and C&M Executive Recruitment, said: “Shannon and Alex were always very popular members of the team and were well liked by both their C&M colleagues and their travel clients.
“They are both highly-skilled travel recruiters with years of experience, and we are sure their return will be warmly welcomed by the industry as we all attempt to combat the current skills shortage.”
Kolosinska added: “After a hugely challenging year, activity levels have now risen massively at C&M.
“It stands as a testament to C&M that recruiters of their calibre would want to come and work for us again.
“We’re expecting to welcome more talented recruiters into the C&M team in the very near future.”
