Ambassador to offer unhappy first-time cruisers full refund

Ambassador Cruise Line will give new cruisers a full refund if they do not enjoy their sailing as part of a new initiative.

The Ambassador Guarantee is applicable to new guests booking an itinerary of four nights or more on Ambience (pictured) or Ambition.

For any passengers who are not enjoying their sailing, the cruise line will offer to cover the costs of the guest’s return transport from the next available port to their point of embarkation and issue a full refund for the cruise fare paid.

Chief executive Christian Verhounig said guest feedback has been “incredibly positive” since the line began operating in 2021, giving it confidence to offer the Ambassador Guarantee.

The offer runs alongside the line’s turn-of-year sales campaign which includes savings of up to 63% on select sailings.

“As we look to welcome many more new travellers aboard in the months and years to come, the introduction of the Ambassador Guarantee adds an extra layer of confidence for those guests that have yet to experience the warmest welcome at sea with Ambassador,” said Verhounig.

“We strongly believe that our incredible offering will prove as attractive to new guests as it is to our loyal repeaters.”
