Brilliant Travel has revealed it will run an annual VIP trip following the success of its first overseas VIP and top seller event.
The homeworking and Managed Service Travel Partner (MSTP) division of Barrhead Travel took a group of agents to Crete in Greece for three days to celebrate a successful year of sales.
In total eight MSTP partners and business owners and four top-selling homeworkers were hosted on the trip by Jet2holidays and Grecotels alongside Brilliant Travel director Linda Pyle and Barrhead Travel president Jacqueline Dobson. They were also joined by Brilliant Travel’s business development team Daniel Steabler and Rebecca Price.
Over the three days the group enjoyed VIP experiences at Grecotel’s Amirandes and Creta Palace resorts as well as a hotel tasting tour at its farm location to showcase local produce and traditional Cretan farming and cooking techniques. They also spent time in the Rethymnon Old Town.
Following the success of the trip, Pyle said: “I’m pleased to confirm the VIP trip will be a staple in our calendar moving forward and we’ll be announcing details of 2024’s trip in the coming months.”
She added: “A fantastic trip was had by all; we really were given the true VIP experience from our partners at Jet2holidays and Grecotels.
“The trip was a great opportunity to celebrate the success of some of our top-performing members who have had a phenomenal year so far, thanks to a heightened demand for a trusted travel expert.
“It was also a great opportunity to engage with Crete as a destination and remind ourselves of the importance of engaging with the local economy and local businesses when we’re holiday.”
