The Holiday Franchise Company has hailed the success of its first company conference, which was held in Birmingham in December after its original plans were shelved due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Holidaysplease-owned company held the two-day event in Birmingham, with talks from speakers including former Advantage chief executive and Holidaysplease director John McEwan.
The event also gave OTA franchisees the opportunity to network with tour operator partners and included a gala dinner and awards.
During the conference the Holiday Franchise Company revealed it had become the first travel franchise to be listed in the HSBC Elite Top 100 Franchisees for four years running.
Joanne Aldridge, head of franchise, said: “We had originally planned our conference for December 2020, so we were thrilled to be able to come together as one team and celebrate our successes as well as planning for a stronger future. We value our franchisees and their feedback; we want to grow together.”
Franchisee Natalie Woods, owner of Sandalwood Escapes, said: “What a fantastic couple of days. It was a super event and I’m already looking forward to the next one.”
