Hurtigruten Expeditions has designed a collection of “immersive” expedition cruises.
From 2024, Maud will offer a “captivating” series of expedition cruises combining the Patagonian Fjords with Antarctica, the line said.
The 17-day Eternal Beauty of Chilean Patagonia and Antarctica itinerary begins with a flight from Santiago to Punta Arenas where passengers will board Maud and sail through the Beagle Channel and Drake Passage.

The ship will then spend a week in Antarctica before returning, spending a day sailing past the Chilean Fjords.
Prices start at £5,707 including a one-night hotel stay in Santiago, flights between Santiago and Punta Arenas, transfers, meals, lectures and Wi-Fi.
Maud will also offer 23-day sailings from Buenos Aires to Antarctica.
The Springtime Expedition to Antarctica itinerary departs Buenos Aires and calls at the Falkland Islands, South Georgia, Antarctica and Punta Arenas where passengers can fly to Santiago.
Prices start at £6,606 based on a November 1, 2024 departure.
Nathaniel Sherborne, vice-president sales and marketing for the UK and Nordics, said: “As the industry leader in sustainable adventure travel, we’re thrilled to create even more opportunities for guests to experience some of the most inspiring places on the planet.
