Royal Caribbean has appointed Celebrity Cruises’ Gerard Nolan as vice-president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Nolan will take over from Ben Bouldin who will begin his new position as president of Royal Caribbean International China in August.
Nolan has worked at Royal Caribbean Group brand Celebrity Cruises since 2016, holding several senior management roles, and was responsible for driving commercial strategy. He was most recently the line’s associate commercial vice-president and was responsible for overseeing the EMEA region.

In his new role, Nolan will be tasked with leading day-to-day operations for the Royal Caribbean International brand in EMEA and will manage the sales, marketing and commercial teams. He will report into international senior vice-president Angie Stephens.
