Longer cruises in the Caribbean have been scheduled by Holland America Line for winter 2024-25, including the return of calls to Bermuda.
Boston joins Fort Lauderdale in Florida as a departure port as longer voyages are introduced.
The programme includes five- to 21-day options to the eastern, western and southern regions, including sailings involving a partial transit of the Panama Canal.
Six ships will be deployed on Caribbean sailings, with the majority from Fort Lauderdale, with two new itineraries departing from Boston.

Most of the sailings between October 2024 and March 2025 will include calls at the line’s Half Moon Cay private island in the Bahamas (pictured).
Evening departures from Puerto Rico, Curacao, St Maarten and Aruba are planned on selected itineraries with longer cruises providing the opportunity to visit more islands.
Ships scheduled to operate the Caribbean season are Eurodam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Nieuw Statendam, Rotterdam, Volendam and Zuiderdam.
HAL president Gus Antorcha said: “Holland America Line is meeting the desire of our guests who want more immersive experiences, and we’re excited to offer new itineraries and a new departure option for this Caribbean season.
“With sailings covering the entire region and combinable itineraries up to 35 days, our Caribbean cruises extend to lesser-visited islands and are among the most diverse in the industry.”
