Jet2holidays has reported “record” levels of demand for holidays since the launch of its peak campaign in December.
In the period between Boxing Day and January 5, the operator said it saw bookings increase by 150% compared to pre-Christmas, with late winter holidays and summer 2024 bookings proving popular.
The operator said its travel agent finder website page, which enables customers to find independent agents near them, has doubled in recent days as demand continues to increase.

The Canaries, Balearics, mainland Spain, Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Portugal, Italy, Malta and Bulgaria have been the most sought-after destinations, as the operator reported a trend of customers booking all-inclusive holidays and avoiding the traditional seven, 10 and 14-night stays.
Jet2holidays said it had been “gearing up” for Sunshine Saturday and expected to see a “further surge” in bookings on January 6.
Steve Heapy, Jet2holidays chief executive, said: “This time of year has traditionally been the peak period for holiday bookings and this is most definitely the case so far this year.
“We are seeing record levels of demand via independent travel agents as customers jump at the chance to lock in their holidays and we are expecting this demand to be even stronger over the coming weekend.
“There is no doubt that our track record of providing industry-leading customer experience is fuelling this demand, with new and existing customers responding to our award-winning proposition.
“With the best rooms, best hotels and best destinations booking so fast, our message to customers is to book before they are gone.”
