Knowledge on the Northern Lights, the Arctic sky and the solar system will be offered on Hurtigruten sailings this autumn by a renowned astronomer.
Tom Kerss will join selected Hurtigruten Expedition and Coastal Express sailings from October.
A veteran of the Royal Observatory, speaker and writer, he has set up Stargazing London to deliver training and spark interest astronomy.
Kerss will embark on his first voyage to Norway on board MS Maud from Dover on October 20.

Besides lectures, he plans to lead excursions such as an exclusive visit to the planetarium at the Science Centre in Tromso.
Hurtigruten UK and EMEA general manager Anthony Daniels said: “We are delighted that Tom will be joining our upcoming season of astronomy voyages and helping our guests truly immerse themselves in the incredible night skies of Norway.
