Travelsphere has expanded its Royal Geographical Society Collection (RGS) tours with two new itineraries for 2026.
The escorted tour operator has also introduced an Albania Discovered - Tirana & Beyond itinerary for 2026.
The new RGS tours are Incredible India & Nepal: Culture, Wildlife & Ancient Wonders and Silk Road Adventure: The Five Stans.
The 18-day India and Nepal itinerary visits sites such as Agra Fort; the Taj Mahal; the sacred city of Varanasi; Chitwan National Park; and a visit to the Boubbhanath Stupa, one of Nepal’s largest and most sacred stupas (religious site).
Prices start from £4,399, with departures in February and October.
The 21-day Silk Road Adventure visits Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
Highlights include a traditional dinner with a local Dungan family in Karakol; guided tours of the ancient cities of Samarkand and Bukhara; a visit to the Charyn Canyon; an overnight stay at the Darvaza Gas Crater; scenic views of the Pamir Mountains; and access to RGS-curated materials about the history of the Silk Road. Prices start from £5,749, with departures in April and September.
Announced in January, the new Royal Geographical Society Collection is a selection of itineraries that feature expert-led insights, an exclusive RGS tour booklet keepsake offering destination content provided by the society, and co-branded luggage labels.
A contribution from each booking will support the society’s research and fieldwork.
Other RGS itineraries, departing in 2025 and 2026, feature Italy, Canada, the US, Latin America and Japan.
The eight-day Albania Discovered - Tirana & Beyond itinerary costs from £1,399, with departures in March, May and September.
Adam Kemp, managing director at Travelsphere, said: “We have worked closely with the Royal Geographical Society to build these new tours from the ground up, ensuring that our travellers can engage with destinations through the society’s amazing insights.
“Travelling with purpose is at the heart of what we do, and this collaboration allows us to bring deeper storytelling and knowledge to our tours, making each journey even more meaningful and unforgettable.
“In addition, our new ‘Albania Discovered’ tour offers the opportunity to delve into the history, culture and vibrancy of the likes of the capital city, Tirana, to smaller mountain towns and villages.”
