Internova Travel Group’s employee community, Women of Internova, hosted its third live UK event on Thursday (August 7), featuring business coach Blaire Palmer.
Broadcast from the London offices of Global Travel Collection – one of Internova’s luxury travel agency brands – the event was led by Nicki Tempest-Mitchell, managing director of Barrhead Travel, another Internova company and Women of Internova UK champion.
Tempest-Mitchell conducted a live fireside chat with Palmer, a former BBC journalist and corporate trainer.
The session, remotely attended by more than 200 Internova employees worldwide, focused on encouraging women to rethink traditional notions of leadership.

Palmer explored topics including empowerment, imposter syndrome, the evolving workplace, and driving cultural change.
The discussion also challenged common leadership myths, highlighting how junior team members can embrace leadership roles, while senior executives can foster environments that promote initiative and idea-sharing.
Tempest-Mitchell said: “Our monthly Women of Internova calls are designed to support the growth of our colleagues.
“Hosting live events in our offices reinforces our commitment to bringing these conversations to life.
“It’s incredibly powerful to showcase an inspiring speaker like Blaire Palmer in front of our teams.
“Empowering women within our community is a key priority for Internova. Events like this allow colleagues to step away from their daily routines and focus on personal development and fresh perspectives.”
Launched in 2022, Women of Internova is an employee resource group that provides opportunities for women – and their allies – across Internova’s global network.
Through monthly calls and events, the group fosters a supportive environment where participants can learn from peers, gain visibility, build leadership skills, and grow professionally.
