The Travel Network Group is to host training sessions to help agents with its new TTNG Digital Assistant, which has now gone live.
The AI-powered tool was unveiled at TTNG’s conference in Bucharest last month and has been developed to help members with the day-to-day running of their businesses.
Accessible via the consortium’s internal portal, The Hub, the assistant offers 24/7 support for a range of business functions – from researching travel itineraries and managing customer queries, to compliance, business development and completing operational tasks.
To help members get the most from the tool, the group’s senior management team is hosting four live demo sessions this week, offering a walkthrough of the assistant and the chance to ask questions.
It has been designed with member feedback to provide relevant, secure and easy-to-access guidance, tailored to each membership type: Travel Trust Association, Worldchoice, Global Travel, Independent Travel Experts and Worldchoice Plus.
Gary Lewis, TTNG chief executive, said: “It’s about making a practical difference to [members’] businesses, and we hope this assistant becomes a valuable part of their toolkit.”
Unlike generic AI platforms, the TTNG Digital Assistant operates within a secure, closed environment and has been customised to reflect the varied business models across the group.
