Big three operator bosses and former CBI chief to speak at Travel Weekly autumn conference

The chiefs of the UK’s three largest tour operators and former director general of the Confederation of British Industry Lord Digby Jones have been confirmed as speakers at Travel Weekly’s flagship Future of Travel Conference in September.

The event will once again take place in partnership with Google and will be hosted for the first time at the technology giant’s UK head office in London’s King’s Cross on Thursday, September 21.

Confirmed trade speakers include Tui northern Europe managing director Andrew Flintham; Jet2 chief executive Steve Heapy; easyJet holidays chief executive Garry Wilson; Barrhead Travel president Jacqueline Dobson; and Booking.com regional manager Ryan Pearson.

Other experts due to appear include Google’s travel industry lead Finnbar Cornwall; Themis Advisory director Joanna Kolatsis; and White Hart Associates head of travel and leisure Chris Photi.

Insight into the importance of a diverse and inclusive future workforce will also be provided by activist and founder of the Brixton Finishing School, Ally Owen, courtesy of Mail Metro Media, while more speakers from the travel industry and related fields are due to be confirmed in the run-up to the event.
